| About Brezza a lot has been written .... |
It was the dawn of October 23, in the in the valley of the Fucino, close to Luco dei Marsi,
everything wakes up again, life started as usual, except for a female of
Maremma Abruzzes Sheepdog that instead falls asleep for a long refreshing sleep, exactley
in the same place where she was born and where she lived for almost 13 years so intensely. Brezza of Lucus Angitiae, founder of one of the most important genealogical lines of this race. Who had the fortune to meet her and to get to know her has appreciated her innate dowries, that through her puppies, nephews and descendants, have allowed to fix the morphological characteristics, that more than others mirror the standard of the race. Cafiero, Ulisse, Ultimo, Cassio, Zingara, Vela, Sila and so many others, are the champions that have allowed the race to be known and appreciated both on a national and international level.
Brezza, the small great Brezza, has gone in silence, but from up there she will always
watch over her descendants and who, as I, have had the fortune to meet her and to be
able to caress her (she didn't allow everybody to do so) will always bring her
in the heart!

Luco dei Marsi, is mourning in the world of the Maremma Abruzzes Sheepdog.
At the age of 13 years Brezza of Lucus Angitiae died. Agostino Di Cola that has raised Brezza has known how to hinge on her, with his creative, rare cynophile genius, a family of the Maremma Abruzzes Sheepdog from which it is not possible to move from if we want to improve with seriousness this race.
The most representative subject of Lucus Angitiae is obviously Cafiero, that
contains the beauty and the character of this reserved and serious dog, powerful
and attentive, elegant and rustic, loyal and generous.
Thanks Brezza for what you have given to your race.
Thanks Agostino to have succeeded through the memory of your Abruzzo and the Marsica,
earth of flocks and whites guardians, thank you for having succeeded, in the loneliness
of your thoughts and aspirations, to mix these subjects that genetically
makes today Lucus Angitiae a strong family, able to continue the selection of the race
in the line that is originated from Brezza.
